Alan - An all too common feature of forum's is that they are used to site bad news etc.Word of mouth tends to spread good news,as you live in Stoke, the Bush Telegraph doesn't generally reach that far.
Having personally seen the play on Saturday and enjoyed it as did many around me,i feel the forum is not an accurate measure of the play's success.
Rather than sit in finite judgement of the in's and out's of the script,I sat and judged the performance, which after all is what its all about.People laughed and laughed out loud,not everyone did but they never will.
