Alan,
I think to withdraw your script is a little extreme, from the comments I read on the first forum discussion there were as many who enjoyed the script as those who didnt. The forum was set up for grown up discussion and to air personal opinions in a fair and open way, no I didnt like the play but there were many who did and it certainly polarised opinion.I still think a Studio discussion prior to its opening would have been of benefit and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
To Ian and others- on a general note regarding the BLT Forum, in order to move forward we need a variety of opinions but we also need to learn to respect each others opinions. If you don't agree with me give a reasoned response instead of constantly accusing me and others of being negative. More people would contribute if they could be sure their views would be respected and not derided.
In conclusion I must say I am in favour of constructive critisism and honest comment from all sides of the debate.
Pauline Sharp
