I'm a real Cortes Islander, been here for over 3 decades.
No I'm Not one of the phoney's who Jetset the Globe and Hibernate elsewhere and then complain about
Global Warming.

Its time Cortes Island Got a Bridge....
Yes you heard it right.
A Bridge from Campbell River to Cortes.

A toll bridge would be just fine.

A Bridge from Campbell River to Quadra Island is already overdue.
A Bridge From Quadra Island to Reed Island Its very close.
A Bridge from Reed Island to Cortes Island could come next.

This Would eliminate The Need for "BC Ferry Corp" And their polluting inadequate Vessels.
This would also Eliminate the idling ferry line ups.

I should also point out I'm fed up Subsidising the
eco-tourism outfits who plug our ferries
every summer for their profits.

If the actual cost of running the ferry is 100$ a per vehicle but everyone pays equally thats fine with me.

All Buinesses Big or Micro that leach of Taxpayers should be shut down.

I would like to Thank the Person who set up this Community Forum.

The other site Cortesisland.com is simply anti-community it censors respectful opposing views or opinions.
Open respectful community discussion is Not Possible on that site.

The Cortes Community Includes everyone.
