You can disagree all you want the proof is in the many reforested areas on cortes.

Naturally seeded? you need to understand the gentics of the seeds your refering to. Douglas fir will not reseed itself itself inside a closed forest canopy. Hemlock is a weed that grows anywhere even on a paved parking lot.

If you collect seeds from the surounding forest to replant it will be geneticaly identical to the natural forest.

Thinning you say?? and the Economy to pay for this comes from where?? Its a tenth of the price to reforest using natural local seedlings and let the forest thin itself out.

Alders only grow in limited places usually where the soil is already high in nitrogen and there's lots of moisture.
Do you let you garden regrow by natural seeding? Thats dumb. How about your fruit trees. Or do you selectivly plant what you deem best suited for the soils.

---Rampant clearcutting or the introduction of new industries???---- Where? What? The Geoduck industry's already here? Now your proposing a thinning industry? Thats a waste of energy.

So where does you income come from? Is it Natural?
Natural is lightning strikes that start forest fires. Will you let them burn or put them out?
