Saw a former TX Teen and Miss contestant is competing in IL today, Ciera Jasso. How did she do in TX and how do you think she’ll do in IL? Wonder if others will relocate this year? Who do you want to jump states to get to USA?

6 pm CT start time on Fox but there may be football overrun.

If USA wins, Allie Gonzalez takes over as Miss USA, so Texas can claim their 10th Miss USA.

Also of note is that Miss US Virgin Islands Andrea Piecuch is a former Texas USA contestant so if US Virgin Islands wins, then Texas can claim their second Miss Universe.

The opening number outfits were so cute, I loved the idea. The song however sounded like a "litte miss opening pageant song." I loved the top 5, each of them deserved their spot and I wouldn't have switched anyone out with the remaining top 17. Kemah was "on" all weekend, she just had that special something. La Grange was a sweet surprise for me, but once I saw her compete, I understood why she was up there,she's so like-able. RGV is a future Miss Texas Teen or Miss Texas, she has that fire in her eyes. Please come back next year RGV and stick to white gowns like you have. ;) Houston is pageant perfection, it's like Madison Lee all over again. Lonestar, I'm so proud of Mary Frances, complete package and CUTE as a button. Some surprises for me in the top 17 were Laredo, Hidalgo County, Capital of Texas and Lakewood. I didn't expect for them to be up there but hey good for them. I would have switched them out with Brazos Bend, Falcon Lake, Tropics of Texas and Dallas, I feel like they would fair better at Miss Teen USA, but that's just my opinion. Girls I hope who return and were in the top 17 are Bay Area, Fort Worth and Southlake. Overall it was a good show, Daniella looked amazing in red and she should consider that color for Miss USA. Good luck to our new teen at Miss Teen USA next year.

I understand this is a board to share opinions, but when the SAME PERSON keeps posting on and on bashing, yes bashing one of the state titleholders daily,I start to wonder who has the time and energy? It's like the person bashing her every day is weirdly obsessed with her and it's creepy. Some people have so much hate and all you can do is pray. It's a title, get over it and stop crying. Yes she won and she's a beautiful titleholder, now stop obsessing over her and do something with your life.

Let me just say I was shocked as shit that Daniella didn't even make the Top 15 at Miss USA.... And I wasn't the only one. There were so many people on Twitter that night stating she should've made it, it could've started trending. These words usually don't come to my mind when I think of pageantry or I try not to use them, but I think the whole Miss USA pageant was fixed this year, not really rigged, but fixed to the max. Anyone else's thoughts?

Bay Area

Harris County

top 15 (random order)
1. Harris county - ligia uriguarte - by far, strongest

2. Central south Texas - Alejandra Gonzalez - beautiful and strong competitor. I hope she chooses something better for interview.

3. Tropics of Texas- Vanessa garza- I think she can have the same "road to the crown" as ylianna guerra did. Of course, ylianna is irreplaceable! She can get there if she stays on her a-game.

4. Capital of Texas-Allison drake- she will get better with experience. I see her in the top 5 again

5. Lone star- Brianna Webb - push it girl! Love her smile, she has to push it a bit more for the crown.

6. Austin-thekla McCarty- hey, she's a first runner up. I don't think her age should worry us. Oh wait, were in Texas!

7. Houston - Logan Lester- I hope she doesn't over do it and chooses a gown that will make her stand out regardless of the price tag. She can be very elegant at times, but tends to over do it and ends up looking tacky. I think by fixing this she can get the crown. She is an incredible young woman who would be a great role model.

8. South Texas- Isabella radovan - her headshot is probably the one that stood out to me the most.

9. Bayou city- Stephanie ludwig - still iffy about her but for a fact will make top 15.

10. Kemal- Nancy Gonzalez she's beautiful but I feel as if she hasn't quite gotten out of her comfort zone

11. Dallas- ashlea Gutierrez she's a veteran

12. RGV- Andrea yarritu

13. westchase- jazmyn jones - OMG! She's beautiful! She reminds me of our current miss USA, Deshauna Barber! I just think if she were to tone down on the eyebrows, her eyebrows would compliment her face more.

My prediction : three of these returning girls have made top 5 before . I'm picking North Texas for the win , Houston 1st runner up, Tip of Texas 2nd runner up. These girls are the strongest contestants. All 3 of these girls have made top 5 in the past -

Question! Has girl ever won or placed that was not originally from Texas? With all the state swapping happening these days do you think this could happen? Or would Texas never crown someone who competed in another state just because she's not originally from here.

Which contestants surprised you this year? Who did you think would place in top 19 and didn’t? Who placed that you were not expecting? I was stunned to not see Waco make the first cut. What happened? How did she handle it? She is used to placing if not winning whatever pageants she is in.
