Subject: Anyone who believes that Gail has NO say in who represents Texas, is not privy to the Texas USA pageant world! Someone stated that the Miss USA pageant is not fun anymore. I would venture to say that Miss Texas USA has dissolved right befor our eyes! The world is changing, education now matters, beauty is still important, and the dreaded question definitely matters more than it used to. Empowered women is what matters....so back to Texas, it’s time to start getting it right again, and pick judges that don’t know and have favorites walking across the stage, as well as have the credentials to do their job! Remember the days when Texas was in the top 15 every year? Me either! Those days are long gone! Even in the background with the Crystal group, I assure you Gail gives them guidance to what she would like BUT these past years the top 6-7 were neck and neck and the JUDGES voted not Gail . Also.. pageants should be fun. ITs A BEAUTY pageant. THIS IS NOT MISS AMERICA. And not one is going to die is someone doesnt make top 15. So sick of everyone have to be so PC. Every women that gets on the stage at Texas is beautiful and educated. They may not be a Harvard grad, but a degree means nothing if its a facade.
