Look at her USA pics in swimsuit and evening gown. OVER THE TOP. Her hair was too big and makeup too much. She could have won with a more natural look and an elegant gown.

NO ONE in any other state competes like Texas girls do, over and over. Crystle won Texas on her 5th try and won USA but that was 10 years ago. Its been a decade. Half of the last 10 winners had at least two years experience at their state level. The others were total newbies. And of the Top 5's, I bet the number is even smaller of how many came with experience. I just don't think it matters anymore like it used to back in the late 90's and early 2000's.
