This photo was published on 18th July, seven days before the final night. Miss Peru, Beatriz Boluarte; Miss Costa Rica, Eugenia Maria Valverde; Miss Colombia, Luz Marina Zuloaga; and Miss Ecuador, Alicia Vallejo, shortly after arriving in this city on a short trip from Long Beach, show off their typical costumes from each of their countries. The Colombian representative – second from right to left - stands out in the group for her special beauty. Commentators have agreed that she can play a good role in the pageant to choose Miss Universe 1958.
