Oh, just remembered something I wanted to say yesterday but forgot. It's interesting that the relationship between Mark Ryan and Love Haggerty is similar to the one between Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson in 'The Departed.' I know Cindy wrote this part of her story ages before that movie ever came out. Haggerty's eventual demise was a lot better than Nicholson's. -- Cindy's Cottage

That might be because I loosely based the relationship between Mark Ryan and Love on the real life duo of Whitey Bulger and John Connolly (and no that's not the same JC that I infamously disagreed with on the internet and who is one of my fave authors).
