  • It's funny (or not, depending on your perspective, I guess), but I consider anything I learn from the books I read to be an added bonus because my main interest is always the characters and whether I feel connected to them. I have to care about the characters, experience them, live and breathe their sorrows, triumphs and loves, or the book just isn't the same for me.
