Subject: Yes, of course that's the poem. It always amazes me how a writer has the storyline told to him or her in unusual ways. I simply can't recall the business about Jack Stuart being Jamie, which is scaring me coz I know I'm becoming more forgetful, but this is a rather important detail to have erased from one's mind! Very scary! I could maybe claim it was the first discussion which I only eavesdropped on occasion, but still....
In reply to: celtgirl 's message, "Do you mean the poem Losing Maude, Denise? Because I wrote that myself, so I guess we could attribute it to Jack Stuart- it was just something I had in my head that I wanted to put in the book- well, actually parts of the chapter grew out of the poem, rather than the reverse- and it could have been something running through Jamie's head post-abortion. I hope that's the poem you were asking me about. As to Nurse Browning, alas, dear Kurt did not cross my mind during her naming. :) And yes, Jack Stuart's real identity has come up in previous discussions." on 14:46:08 07/20/09 Mon
