Subject: I'm sad that I'll not be there for the N. Ireland part of the trip because I know I'll be missing so much related to the books. But I am grateful to be able to see the countryside and a bit of Dublin!

I had no idea Pamela was spying and didn't connect the arabic papers to anything and couldn't figure out who she was spying for. What a letter! I am eager for Mermaid now and I think the trip to Ireland is putting a different spin on the re-read and discussion for me.
