I think we're having a moment of synchronicity, E. because I was just reading about the whole concept of Russia as rodina last night. They think it goes back to the pagan religions when most cultures worshipped the Great Mother. Maybe we can save this statue for the centrepiece of the circle- just give her angel wings and wa-la!!
