  • 1. It does. I still don't necessarily agree with their methods but I can see how they'd be driven to them. What do you do when your family and friends have been deported, kicked off their land and out of their homes, denyed education and jobs, imprisoned unjustly, hauled off and murdered in the middle of the night for no reason other than their faith, colour, race etc. and all peaceful protests or calls for change are either ignored or met with violence? Doesn't leave you too many routes to go. Whether one is a terrorist, rebel, freedom fighter or soldier all depends on which side you're on. The Protestants had organizations just as brutal, just as indiscriminate in their actions and just as unlawful as the IRA, only the British turned a blind eye to them (and probably supported them in secret) because they were on their side. -- Carla, 13:19:45 10/19/07 Fri
