It's such a natural thing to happen in the midst of an argument. It's probably happened to most of us at one time or another. It just seemed like such a hasty, knee-jerk response from Pamela, who was, after all, being interrupted from a chore that she regarded as tranquil and calming. It led me to believe she's really as angry at herself as she is at Casey.
