Subject: Ya know, it just occured to me that maybe this whole 'waiting' thing is more about my soul will wait for your soul to join me. If so, that's nice :-) But it brings up another question for me then...if the person left behind to finish out their life falls in love again...who's soul do you join in the afterlife? It's mind bogglin' me here haha - so I'm interested in y'alls thoughts.
In reply to: Marilyn 's message, "59.2) I’m not sure what the significance of Nuala’s story might be to Casey & Pamela, but it was indeed a sad story and has stayed with me as well. I wonder if Nuala could move on to a more peaceful place if her husband and son’s bones were returned to her. Is this what she waits for maybe? Closure? The idea of ‘waiting’ is romantic but sad in a way too, if you’re not able to go on and live the rest of your life…constantly searching for a loved one that’s not coming back. I like to think of the ‘waiting’ scenario as maybe a special place where you can go and remember, talk with your loved one, tell them what’s going on in your life and reaffirm your feelings for them have not died with them. That would be healthy to me. I hate to even think or talk about – ‘if I go before you’, ‘if you go before me’ stuff and I have no idea how I’d handle it, but I would hope for peace and strength to carry on with whatever is left for me to do here in this world." on 07:57:56 10/11/07 Thu
