1. Music can definitely nourish the physical body. Physical health is directly linked to emotional health, which is improved by music. When you are happy, you are more likely to work out instead of just watch tv or eat. Also, music encourages dancing, which is excercise. When you play music, especially singing and other full-body instruments, you must be in excellent physical condition. It is a work out.
2. Music brings greater health to your mind because it can express ideas that you had not otherwise considered, inspiring creative thought. It can also calm you down when you are stressed out, contributing to mental health. By playing music, you must be trained to read and otherwise understand music, which is improving intelligence, which is in your mind.
3. Music can improve or damage the soul. Depressing "emo" music can make you more depressed, inspiring thoughts of suicide. Screaming, loud, angry music can make you irritable and aggressive towards others around you. Also, music is very much connected to memory. When you hear a song from your past, you have flashbacks. If that song is connected to a bad memory, that song can damage your soul with the horrible memories.
4. The music that nourishes the mind is more important. Music is everything to your mental capabilities and expression. Without it, I wouldn't care about my body. If you aren't happy, you're not going to want to work out. Also, emotions transcend physical states. They are ever lasting, where as the body decays.
