1. I think that music definitely has the ability to nourish the body, if properly enacted by the listeners. Music can nourish the body, but one, having a catchy rhythm to dance to, two, have the upbeat intensity that is listenable while working out and running, and also when the song in general is good, it will increase your own morale and energy, making you get pumped and go out and do something. In conclusion, music does nourish your body if put into action by the listener.
2. Music not only has the ability to nourish your body, but in my opinion, it also brings greater health to your mind, by: making you think about the lyrics and analyze them through your thoughts, which will increase your ability to do this with everyday thoughts and situations. Music can free your mind of negative thoughts, which in turn makes you and your mind feel freer. Lastly, music can help you come up with your own opinion on controversial topics, and can also have the ability to make you aware of worldly issues, which keeps your mind healthy with new thoughts.
3. I don't think music is ever purposely meant to damage the soul. But, i feel that if people are in a certain particularlly hard time in their life, and listen to a song that talks about killing yourself, or other negative thoughts, then that person could get the feeling in their soul that cause a certain band is talking about it, then that must be the thing to do, which sends negative thoughts through their mind, in turn, damaging their soul. But, like i stated before, i don't think music was created to ever purposely damage the soul.
4. For me, music nourishing my mind and music nourishing my soul, are equally important. I love the feeling of going home and turning on my favorite song, when i have a bad day, and immeadiately feeling free and so much more in control of the situation. I also love turning on my ipod and turning up the volume as loud as possible, and just going on run, and not worrying about anything. So for me, music nourishing my mind and soul is equally important.
