)Beckman is an archbishop and as such religious people are more concened with values, he might of been more sensitive of this issue. Also it seems that most of these people are older, career oriented and they are not used to the new rhythms.

)There seems to be some bad connotation with jazz, the phychiatrist uses words such as 'primitive' and 'savages'. The archbishop also refrences jazz with cannabolism, all in all they are saying that these are tribal, lower than they are. Some of these words would also be associated with non-white people. There seems to be some racism but that is not the main issue.

)Yes, i think that music can be like a drug, as the Doctor says. Also music is the master of stirring emotions and feelings.

)I think that almost anykind of music can be immoral (except church hymns). In the words that are used, and more than just sexual, but creat images of violence or curse words.

)I can think of rap music. I have heard people say that all they talk about are sex and drugs or killing people. People, especailly older people, tend to see rap as not even musical, that it promots bad morals.
