1. I think that the people who did not like swing music just didnt like the change. They were used to whatever their old music was and were just used to everything their way. So then when their kids get a little older and everything started to change they hated it because It was not the same old polite music. It had close-dancing and a noticed effect on the people.

2. I think that some of the attacks are definitely race motivated. The blacks made the swing music and then the white people started to adopt it as their own. So that probably made some people hate swing music more.

3. Yes, I think that it is true, that music can make a person happy and forget about stuff for that short while. It really can just take you to another world and make you forget about all of the bad things.

4. I think that there are definitely some types of music that are immoral to some people. But I think that everyone has different morals and so a certain kind of music might be offending to somebody else but not to the other person. But yes, there is definitely immoral music.

5. I think that rap music definitely gets a harsh reaction from the older generations. For example some of my music my parents cant stand. They say the same kinds of things that people said about swing music.
