1. Well im not suree if you knew this but thisssdd but swing music was new and intimidating. They believed like Archbishop Bechem that it was a drug that is sending younglings into the depths of hell
2. yes i do. i think these because of the language that they used to describe this music. they referred to them as savages and thought that they were reckless and were currupting society with their sexual behavior.
3.NO. music can not send you into hell. yes it can influence you but you are in complete controll of your functions and therefore if you go to hell it is because you want to not because of the music.
4. yes there is plenty of music today that could be considered imoral. for example there are alot of people that would say that rap music promotes violence.
5. yes hip hop and rap have had these accusations put on them. like i stated above the style of music has been said to have promoted violence in american society.
