1. I think swing music was attaked and belittled as primative music enjoyed by savages and children because the concept of swing was drastically different from what was deemed appropriate by older generations. I think these individuals feared the concepts swing music represented and attempted to stunt the movement by claiming it did pushed their "...youth along the primrose path to hell!"
2.I think some of these attacks could be considered racially motiated because of their use of certain words that could be considered prejudice terms. Words such as "primative" and "savages" can be linked to racial slurs used in history and through this they could be viewed as attacks.
3.I personally don't believe music can corrupt an entire generation, be viewed as a harmful drug, or be considered to be a "cannibalistic rhythm orgie." So no...
4.Morality differs according to the individual and their views. Some music may be considered immoral by one person or group and completely fine by others. Its kind of hard then to classify music as immoral or not.
5. Basing off of my own experiences i have never heard someone deem a genere or song as immoral. Im sure there are people out their that claim some types of music to have negative meanings and purposes but i have only really heard music judged on its quality.
