1. In the early songs, they were more poppy with less musical intracateness. And in their later albums they were more "experimental" and they used more intracate music themes. They began to use more ochestral elements, and such.

2. In their first few albums they lyrics were more about being with girls, and the songs were more upbeat. In their later albums the lyrics were about more pertinent matters, such as lonely people, and peace. The lyrics became more mature.

3. The fact that they were the Beatles, a rock group, made Elanor Rigby a rock song. The way that it was sung also makes it a rock song.

4. My favorite era would have to be the middle to later era. Because it was more musically mature and more fun to listen to.
