1. As the Beatles progressed musicially their music changed as well from being simple rock and roll to being experimental rock. Early in their carreer the instrumentation was very basic including almost exclusively two guitars, a bass, drums, and sometimes piano. The arrangements of these songs, while relatively simple still defied the average by being more complex than others. The structures were also uniuqe in that they often went against the average AABA form by including bizarre guitar chords. Yet, towards in the middle and end of their carreer the Beatles went out of their way to be different. The instrumentation of the song became much more varied and often included strings, sitars, and many others.
