1. The beatles change musically throughout the years with generic pop songs early and then alot more insturment use and more production added into the songs on cds such as Sgt Peppers. The pop songs where shorter and extremly catchy while the later songs become lyrically more constious and much more different instruments.

2. ONe transformation from there pop roots is how there lyrics got much more maturer. They started to be more abstract and more worldy. ALot more metaphors were used which reflected the massive drug use of the time.

3. Eleanor Rigby is a rock song beacuse the Beatles are a rock band. It may not fit under the same criteria as most rock songs but the Beatles are a rock band which makes it a rock song.

4. My favorite era of the beatles is from Revolver to the end. I like the experimental hippie music much better that the pop music.
