Subject: DAVID AND GOLIATH

I hate to see weight added past 3200 lbs to anyone. That's just getting way too heavy for the power these cars are making on a true 10.5 tire. I'd rather go the other way and give weight breaks to those who run without wheelie bars and other less than perfect cars. Help the little guys out that have stock bore space motors, single carbs, stock suspensions, etc., so they can be a little more competitive. We know that the Goliath's are going to win most of the races, but they've got to have someone to race to get there. Give the masses a fighting chance instead of a guaranteed status as a "First Round Pork Chop," and they'll hang in there if they can go a round or two every now and then. There are a lot more David's out there than Goliath's, so do what you can to encourage them to sling those rocks!!! If you don't, you'll only have a hand full of giant's.
