I personally think Dwight Eisenhower's most significant foreign policy event while President of the United States was the creation of the Eisenhower Doctrine in 1957. It was very important because it helped other countries fight back communism when they were in need of help. Different regions that were affected by Communism would be given help in various forms like financial aid and armored forces from the U.S. I think it was successful because giving aid to other countries when in need is good for our reputation and can help build alliances.
