I see what Carly means when she says Eisenhower made a smart decision by using Radio Free Europe instead of bullets. But I was confused when reading the paragraph because from what I know, some of the above statements are a little mixed up. For one, the CIA used the radio to start the revolution, not crush it; furthermore, it was the Hungarians who started the revolution, not the Soviets.
