You should ask about and get a list of all exams or procedures that these screenings will be.This list should be signed, and there should be a signed affirmation that no other exam than those listed will be performed.
Also there should be told if anesthesia is planned to be used and what type: just pain killing, conscious sedation, deep sedation or general anesthesia, and how the anesthesia is planned to be given.

Then you can decide to go or no.

If you do not get such a complete signed list, reject the proposal.

If some of the exams will be under other anesthesia than just analgesic or pain killing, also reject. You cannot trust what they do with you when you are not awake.

In either case, if the list of exams indicate a heavy ordeal like this described in the beginning of this thread, I will worn against accepting.

To me it looks like they want to use you as research object for other purposes than your own benefit, so I think this already sounds fishy.
