Boy 12yo, England - Tonsillectomy with secret laparoscopic abdnominal procedure - possibly tissue theft

I am male. As preteen, 12yo The procedure happened in England in the years 1990-1999. I had my tonsils taken out because of frequent sore throats and tonsillitis. I got it twice in July so I had them out in August. I was 12 and it happened at a brand new at the time teen and children's day surgery centre. It was part of a bigger children's hospital too. My mum drove me there.


ARRANGMENTS:

I was given sedative medicines through my mouth. I was given medication intravenously.They gave me gas through a mask.They gave me something to make me relax in the preop room and then once I was in the operating room they put a mask on me and injeceted me with something thick and white. The procedure occured in a day and night institution for children and teens. When I was checked in I went,to a room with my mum and they gave me a gown and let me keep my underwear on. After they took me to the preop room and gave me something to relax they had me say goodbye to my mum for awhile and then had me put on a rubber gown and cap. They told me it was just in case I got sick well in the or. When I woke up I was naked acept for the cap.


SYMPTOMS AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

I had pain irritition or other problems in my mouth and in my respiratory tract or lungs.

My underwear beng messed up or other signs that I had been stripped naked at my lower body. It took twice the time to wake up than expected. When I went in to have it done I was told I would only be asleep for about an hour but it was almost 2 hours later I left the operating room.

I did have a bandage on my belly button and a doctor was listening to my belly. I think I had a couple IVs. I think I did have a breathing tube but I don't recall. I know I had a mask at some point when I woke up but may have had a tube before that. I think I might have had catheter. Heart monitor, Yeah. They checked me afterwards and they were really nice and one of the nurses apologised to my parents for the extra surgery as did the doctor they said something about checking for cancer. Asleep the whole time.

COMMENTS:

It seems that the doctors checked inside the abdominal cavity with a scope inserted through the belly buttom in addition to the tonsil surgery. It is however odd that they apologized to the parents about extra surgery, and said they checked for cancer, as if the parents did not know about it. It is highly probable that tissue was taken out from his abdomen to use it for some research or medical project that had nothing with the boy to do, or they checked inside his abdomen as a part of some routine screening that was kept secret. In either case, this cancer chek story is surely fake.

Boy 14yo England cystoscopy with inspection through anus and gemital check

I had cystoscopy. I am male. The exam took place in Western Europe, England 14 years old, Year 2010. Had cystoscopy in a health centre. Got no explanation. The exam was a total surprize.

Parents drove me, said I was going to see the doctor.

PREPARATIONS

Had to stop eating several hours before the cystoscopy. Got to a special preparation room. Had to undress completely and go to bed. Got a hospital gown before going to bed.

Given enema during preparations. Had to walk by myself to the exam.

It was very embarrassing because I got an erection in front of the nurse when she pulled my foreskin back to clean. I had to ask her to stop cleaning twice because I was afraid I would ejaculate and she kept rubbing and cleaning my penis head and under my foreskin

Got a shot to calm down and make sleepy. Had a gown around me but the lower body was naked. Lay on back with legs in stirrups. I could still feel but I was too tired to move my arms and legs very much.


WHAT I REMEMBER FROM THE EXAM

They put a rigid stick-like cystoscope in through the urethra. They pumped up and irrigated bladder with water when looking inside. I am not sure but had pain on the sides of my back as if they inserted the scope even further up towards the kindeys.

They also used an ultrasond probe on the stomach to inspect the bladder area. They made an ultrasound exam of the scrotum and testicles. It hurt when they started pushing in the rod into my penis and I kept saying stop stop its hurting me.

They inspected anus with a scope


ARRANGEMENTS AFTER THE EXAM

Had to stay in bed some hours after the exam. No special arrangements.


FOLLOW-UPS

Other follow-ups please comment. Same exam again the next two years. No one told me why. All teenage boys in the area has a mandatory cystoscopy as a part of the puberty assessment.


JUDGEMENT

It was unneccessary. It was painful. It was humiliating or awful. it hurt when I peed for 3-4 days after.


COMMENTS

In some societies around the world all teen boys and somtimes girls too have a mandatory or recdommended pelvic exam that includes a cystoscopy examination of the genitals and inspection through the anus.

Often this exam is done under general anesthesia. But general anesthesia includes risks and is more expensive. Therefore simpler anesthesia is sometimes used, especially when all teens in the area has this exam.

The procedure is very little talked about to the public and will therefore often come as a surprize.

When all teens in an area go through this procedure it is not only for the benefit of the teens, but also for surveillance and research.

The procedure described is pritty standard. but it looks that the boy did not get information, good painkilling in his urethra and that it was performed clumpsily.

According to my reports it looks like this examination is useful for many teen boys because problems that could get worse is found and correted.

It is possible that the boy had some malformation that they corrected during the procedure and that this caused more pain.

My stepson had cystoscopy. The exam took place in Western Europe, UK, 12 years old, period 1980-1989. Had cystoscopy in the doctor's or nurse's office at school. I took him to the exam.

We said something like: The doctor shall look at you down in your stomach. Given enema at home before going. He got to a special preparation room. Had to walk by himself to the exam. THE PROCEDYRE AS REMEMBERED

They put a flexible snake-like cystoscope in through the urethra. They pumped up and irrigated bladder with water when looking inside.

DIAGNOSES AND FOLLOW-UP

Diagnosis - low bladder capasity. Diagnosis - psychological problems. He got social or psychological councelling or a training program.

REASON AND JUDGEMENT

The reason was problems with urination. Stepson was still wetting the bed at 12. It was useful, but felt humiliating or awful.


COMMENTS

This seems to be a simple cystoscopy procedure to investigate a manifest problem. In some communities around the world schools have medical rooms to perform procedures like this. In this case it was done to investigate a problem. But in some communities all kids have this procedure done around that age as a part of the early pubery assessment. In spite of this it is not thought much about to the common public.

Even though not told, the boy probably got analgesic and lubricationg fluid injected through his urethra and probable some relaxing medication before the procedure.

Boy, 13yo, UK, cystoscopy combinded with colorectal inspections at school

I had cystoscopy as a 13 year old boy in Cambridge United Kingdom, in the period 1960-1969.

Had cystoscopy in a special room at school apart from the rooms where ordinary physicals occured. I did not know that that special cystoscopy room at school existed as it was some secret place.

Parents said something like: The doctor shall look at you down in your stomach. Nurse and mother were precent.

PREPARATIONS

Given enema at home before going. Got to a special preparation room. Had to undress completely and go to bed. Had to walk by myself to the exam.

Taken vitals like temperature heart rate and blood pressure. A consent formula was presented and signed. Was totally naked during exam. Lay on back with legs in stirrups. I got Lubricated but no pain killing.

WHAT I REMEMBER FROM THE PROCEDURE

They put a rigid stick-like cystoscope in through the urethra. They pumped upp the bladder with air or gas when looking inside. They pumped up and irrigated bladder with water when looking inside.

The scope or a new intrument was inserted even further up towards the kindeys.

ADDITIONAL EXAM

They inserted an ultrasond probe in through the anus to inspect the bladder and genital area. They made an ultrasound exam of the scrotum and testicles. They inspected the whole colon - full colonoscopy.

ARRANGEMENT AFTER THE EXAM

Had catheter in the bladder some time after the exam. Had to stay in bed more that a day after the exam.

DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

Diagnosis - valves or constrictions in the urethra. Stricture of urethra and bladder neck Had corrective surgery. Years later had to cathterrize weekly still ongoing.


THE REASON FOR THE PROCEDURE

The reason was problems with urination. It was useful. It was not any big deal.

COMMENTS

Some schools have specil rooms for advanced examination. It looks like this scool had such rooms.

Usually doctors do these exams. But possibly this school had a standing service for endoscopic examinations of kids with pelvic problems, and that a nurse had been given special training in doing these exams.

The procedure relieved some common problems in boys that can cause serious problems later.

Ultrasounds probes wore not commonly used at that time, so what was used was probably a rigid sigmoidosope with electric lightning to inspect his anus and terminal colon.

Endoscopes for full colonoscopy were not invented either at that time, so I guess they used a flexible tube that had sections to inflate to measue dimmentions and test reactions in the colon. This set could look like a modern colonoscope.

Even though he could not remember any anesthesia, the lubrication used, and possibly injected in urethra and anus before the procedure contained probably local anesthesia and some sedative medicine.

Boy, 6yo, England, neurlological and social assessment with probable intimate inspection

This account was probaqbly submitted by the parents of the boy, but asked the boy about the ordeal when filling out, and used the words of the boy.

I am a male. I was a school-aged child, 6yo in 2019 in England. I was examined at school. A doctor did the exam with the help of another doctor.


OVERVIEW OF THE ORDEAL

I had to be in undys. They examined my head teeth or jaws.They inserted instruments into my mouth.They made interrogations about my social relations and my daily life. They press on my tummy and my back and I had wires on my head and chest and had to do jumping


THE EXAM STEP BY STEP

First tell my name and age and then go to only my undys and drink some fizzy water, it tast bad. Then ask me lots of things about daddy and sports and everything. They press on my tummy and look in my mowth, and then my chest and back. They put the wires on me, and I had to do jumps and sit ups. The exam ended this way: I got sleepy and wake up in my school clothes

REASON AND JUDGEMENT

What do you think was the reason for this exam?It was weerd because only me and 1 girl had to go. What is your opinion about thios experience? I didn't like it because they look at me funny and I miss play time for it.

INTIMATE EXAM

As far as I remember they did not examine my urinary system. they did not do a genital exam, they did not du any rectal or bowel exam.

COMMENTS

Possibly the parents of the boy ore somebody working at the school submitted this responce, and they possibly asked the boy questions when submitted the account. But it looks like the parents did not know that this exam took plase before it happened at school.

A great part of the exam seems to be testing of social relations, nervous system and neuromuscular coordination.

The boy cannot remember any intimate exam but at the last part he was put asleep and afterwards he had pain in his anus and penis. This makes it clear that they also examined the intimate zones of the boy.

If they tested the neurological reflexes in his bladder, urethra rectum and anus it will conform with the parts of the exam he remembers. I guess that they did such thests with inserted instruments.

They probably also took specimens from the urethra and anus and possibly looked through his urethra and anus with endosopes before the testing.

The exam probably had the purpose of examining his neurolological development status and also hunt for signs of sexual abuse-

Boy 10yo England Sleep apnoe surgery with secret extensive pelvic stomach and neurological examinations

I am male. As preteen 10yo. The procedure happened in England in the years 2000-2009. I had an exam or surgery in my moth nose or respiratory organs. Sleep apnea. Surgery. The procedure happened in a hospital.

Symptoms and observations:
My underwear beng messed up or other signs that I had been stripped naked at my lower body. My parents or others giving hints or remarks about unexpected symptoms or signs. Strange persons appeared around me before and after the procedure than those I expected to perform the procedure. The child protective agencies were interfering with me or me family around the time of the procedure. My butt hurt and it felt wet and my tighly whities were gone.

Arrangements:
They gave me gas through a tube down my throat. This is usually not remembered because one gets other medication first. A doctor standing over me pushing a giant tube down my mouth and I could not breath or move

I was taking by an ambulance my doctor said I had to be rushed to a hospital. for surgery. I had an IV in both arms. Yes I had breathing tube and it was huge. I had tubing coming out of my penis. There was a pump up my butt to help Me poop

. There were wires on my almost everywhere. Yes asked lot of questions. I woke during the procedure. They were yelling turn up the gas he is awake.

(Editors comment: It is obvious that in this cas not only the sleep apnoe surgery was done but also a major examination of the lower stomach and genital region and probably neurological function tests of greater part or the body. The tube up through the rectum with a pump could also have been some equipment for functional tests rectal and colonic manomentry or the colon was in a state with low funcction after extensive examinations. The extensive testing was probably asked for by the child protective agency. Nobody gets rushed to hospital just for a sleep apnoe surgery so there was probably a conspiracy going on by the doctor and some agencies.

Boy, 13yo, Apenicectomy and corrections in stomach

As early teen boy, 13-16. The procedure happened in England, in 2010 or later. I had an exam or surgery in my stomach area. The night before my 13th birthday I woke up with pain in my belly around 10:30. I told my parents I was in pain so they drove me to the hospital. Once I was there we are doctors examined me and said I had appendicitis. So they had to prep me for surgery.

yeah they told me that during the surgery they had found a small problem with part of my intestine and had to fix it as well.

I was 13 yeard sold when the surgery happened but I was actually 12 when I went in the operating room cuz the operation was after midnight so I actually turned 13 was on the operating table. Yeah one of the nurses prepping me actually noticed on my hospital bracelet that my birthday was coming up and she asked me how old I was going to be so I told her that I was only 13. She said that she said this must be a crappy birthday for you then getting your appendix out when she told me that her son had to get his appendix out on 13th birthday as well. When I woke up from the surgery the doctors and nurses had actually signed a one of the surgery hats and but happy birthday on it to me to me which was cool.

SYMPTOMS AFTER THE SURGERY

I had pain irritation or other problems in my urethra or bladder. I had pain irritation or gas in my colon or lower stomach. The procedure or the time to regaine consciousness took at least twice as long time than expected.

When I woke up from the surgery I found out that my appendix had ruptured the doctor said that the surgery take a little bit longer because of that.

PREPARATIONS

They gave me gas through a mask. Doctors gave me anesthesia through mask. I remember it smelled kind of funny but it was also really kind of cool. The procedure happened in a hospital, emergency appendectomy. My parents drove me there.

Nothing out of the ordinary just some blood tests CAT scan and an ultrasound.

ARRANGEMENTS AFTER THE SURGERY

When I woke up from a surgery I had some IVs on me for pain and antibiotics plus they're also give me stuff because I'm a diabetic and I had taken a insulin shots that day yet handle that kind of haven't eaten for a little bit cuz my stomachs bothering me earlier in the day. Oh yeah I had breath tube when I woke up but they took it out after surgery is finished. Yeah, catheter, they kept it in me for a few hours or so just to make sure I was peeing ok but I'm going to take it out because I felt funny. No machines or tubes connected to my anus all though it sounds like a cool some weird sort of way. Yeah heart monitor blood pressure pulse ox.

I think that's it. The staff I'll treat me really really nice and the nursing staff from the ward I was on I wish me happy birthday in the morning I woke up so I kinda cool. the next morning I also got to meet the nurses son had his appendix out on his birthday cuz he was actually still in the hospital as well and we got to talking and realized we knew each other from school. They also found out that we're going to be on the same high school together.

Sleep for the whole surgery but I didn't wake up just there finishing it up and I kind of remember it being wheeled out of the operating room.

I am male. At schoolage 6-9The procedure happened in England.The procedure occured in the years 1990-1999. They performed an exam or procedure but was not given information about what they did.I don't really know what they did. My mom and dad told me I had to have an operation.

They gave me gas through a mask.I was unconscious all the time. They put a mask on me and said to pretend I was an astronaut. The procedure occured in a military establishment. I don't know I was only told I was having one. My parents got a phone call from my doctor about it one day and told me I was going to a special doctor and I would spend a couple of days there.

It was some sort of children's hospital type place and my parents drove me. Yeah one of the nurses that looked after me said I was such a brave boy for having the operation

I didI had some blood tests before the operation. I was 6 when it happened at a special doctors office. When I turned 18 a few months ago I got the medical file from the operation and had a friends dad who's a surgeon explain it to me. Apparently they were worried I had cancer in one of my kidneys but didn't find anything.

This was probably an endoscopic procedure to assess all parts of his urinary system.
