Boy, 17yo, north america, chest x-ray with possible pelvic inspections

I am male. It happened in North America. 1990-1999. 17 year old. None information. I went there alone by myself tp a health center. Other selection criteria.

PREPARATIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS

I mostly only had my underwear on the time I stayed awake. They placed me upon a simple examination table. They placed me upon something like a dentist's chair, but with devices to lift my legs onto. I was placed to lay on my back with steight legs. I did not get any anesthesia.

THE EXAMINATIONS

They took chest x-ray pictures. I cannot remember any other external or internal procedure like those mentioned.


ARRANGEMENTS AFTER THE EXAM

They held me inconscious for some hours.

THE SXHOOL I WENT TO

I went to some other type of school.

COMMENTS

Ihe boy remembered a chest x-ray during which he was not anesthetized.

But thereafter he obviously got deep sedation or general anethesia, but does not seem to remember how he got it. Possibly he got something to drink or swallow at some point that made him drawsy and then got full enesthesia that lasted for several hours.

Furthermore he remembers his legs being placed in holders like for a thorough pelvic exam.

On can be sure that much more than what he remembers was done and that more was some kind of pelvic inspection.

I guess that he undervent a standardized combination of cystosocpy, internal inspection through anus, external ultrasound exam of all his pelvic organs and internal ultrasound and ultrasound through anus.

I cannot be sure if all of these occurred, but since the opportunity to do all was there and it took so long time, this is probable.

He surely had catheter and electrodes, but these were taken off before he woke up.

This combination of exams is fairly common in kids and teens, but usually shielded by anesthesia and not much spoken about.

I guess that the resaon for the exam was concerns for health or behavior expressed by the school. Many schools have very strict normality schemes for all aspects of the kids, and kids differing are likely to get examinations of the kind.
