I had cystoscopy. I am female. The exam took place in Austraila, 7 years old, 17 years old Year 2011 (Possibly misspelling of 2013). and another in 2023. (Possibly misspelling of 2021)

A doctor and nurse team was driving around in the area in an ambulance-like car. They visited homes with children, took the children into the car and performed a cystoscopy on them there. A doctor and nurse team performed the cystoscopy in a home visit.
Got no explanation. The exam was a total surprize. Parents said something like: The doctor shall look at you down in your stomach.

ARRANGEMENTS

Had to stop eating several hours before the cystoscopy. Given laxatives at home before the exam. Given enema at home before going.

Taken vitals like temperature heart rate and blood pressure. A consent formula was presented and signed.

God lubricating and pain-killing fluid inserted in through the pee-hole. Was totally naked during exam. Lay on back with legs in stirrups.


WHAT I REMEMBER ABOUT THE EXAM

They put a rigid stick-like cystoscope in through the urethra. They pumped up and irrigated bladder with water when looking inside. They took out the scope and inserted a new scope to take further specimens. The scope or a new intrument was inserted even further up towards the kindneys.

They also used an ultrasond probe on the stomach to inspect the bladder area. They inserted an ultrasond probe in through the vagina to inspect the bladder and genital area. They inserted an ultrasond probe in through the anus to inspect the pelvic area.

They inspected anus with a scope They inspected the whole colon - full colonoscopy.


ARRANGEMENTS AFTER THE EXAM

Had catheter in the bladder some time after the exam. Got medicines into urethra with a syringe after the exam.


REASINS AND JUDGEMENT

All prepuberty girls in the area has a mandatory cystoscopy. All teenage girls in the area has a mandatory cystoscopy as a part of the puberty assessment. The cystoscopy was a part of a research project. It was unneccessary. It was painful. It was humiliating or awful.

COMMENTS

Several communities around the world perform a mandatory pelvic exam on all kids or teens at specific ages, including cystoscopy and inspections through vagina and anus.

These procedures are connected to a more general political aim of knowing absolutely everything about all kids.

Often these ordeals is also a part of an international research and surveillance program that have run for several decades, probably managed by the WHO.

In these cases other body parts are usually scrutinized in the same way, but that possibly happened to the girl during another exam.

People get little information about these ordeals and they are often surprized when parents and kids got contacted by the teams.

Often, however, the kids have some benefits from the ordeal because problems in the urinary tract or lower digestive system are discovered.

Probably also the boys had these exams in this area, but possibly in a hospital setting with care in an intensive care unit, and not in a medical van.
