Here is a story from the 1970-period which is coherent with the other stories.

Teenage boy, dental work with symptoms of pelvic or digestive procedures afterwords

As early teen 13-16. The procedure happened in North America. The procedure occured in the years 1970-1979. I had dental work.

The procedure occured at a health center. It happened in the dentist's office. My mother drove me. My dentist, a new hygienist and my mother were there when they put me under. I needed some teeth pulled.


ANESTHESIA

They gave me gas through a mask. I remember seeing the mask coming over my head from behind and covering my face. I also remember the smell of the rubber. I have no memories from shortly after the mask was put over my face until I woke up.


WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

I don't remember any of the actual procedure(s). I had two teeth removed.


SYMPTOMS AFTERWORDS

I had pain irritation or other problems in my nose. I had pain irritition or other problems in my mouth. I had pain irritation or other problems in my respiratory tract or lungs. I had pain or irritation in my anus or rectum. I had pain, irritation or gas in my colon or lower stomach. I had pain or irritation in my esophagus or upper stomach.

Only the hygienist was there when I woke up. I was 13. It felt like I had had an enema when I woke up. My testicles ached too.

No catheter or tubes. The hygienist examined me like I was at the doctor's office. She had me strip to my underpants and started with pulse temperature and blood pressure.


COMMENTS

Having two teeth pulled possibly was a preparation for orthodontic work. Often 4 teeth are pulled for this work, but those other 2 could have been pulled another time.

He surely got a breathing tube and possibly arteficial ventilation, which explain the airtube symptoms afterwords.

But the other symptoms strongly suggest he got a pelvic examination. If he had orthodintic work afterwords, this may have occured to exactly denermine his pubertal status. An assessment of his prostate is useful in a full puberty assessment in boys, which might explain his rectal symptoms.

But in this case they also seemed to perform a more extensive digestive exam, with inspection also in his colon and upper stomach. Such an exam was possibly planned and they decided to do it when he was under anesthesia for dental work.

Those doing these exams were surely not the dentist, but other specialiststs called in, and possibly performed it in another room too.

The person interpreted as a new hygienist was possibly as nurse or even a doctor called in.
