Boy, 11yo, USA, HEART SURGERY UNDER DOUBTFUL CIRCUMSTANSES

As preteen boy 11yo. The procedure happened in North America. The procedure happened in USA. The procedure occured in 2010 or later. I had an exam or surgery in my chest. I had an operation done on my heart. All I was told was it was to fix something I had wrong with it.

SOMTOMS AFTERWARDS

I had pain irritition or other problems in my mouth. I had pain irritation or other problems in my respiratory tract or lungs. I had pain irritation or other problems in my urethra or bladder. it hurt the first couple of days after the surgery to breathe because of the tube I had in.

ANESTHESIA AND PREPARATIONS

They gave me gas through a mask. They put a mask on me and had me breathe in and count backwards from 20 i got to about 10 before i was asleep.

EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE SURGERY

The procedure happened in a hospital. When I was 11. I had to change doctors because my old one retired and the new one said I had a problem with my heart and needed to have some tests done. I went to another doctors office and had some test done at the hospital as well. After the test tat the hospital they had me come to the office once a week and lie in a hyperbaric chamber with a mask and heart monitor on me. At a certain point they let me sit up and do homework with a friend of mine from school who was having the same tests don.

On Saturdays we came in too and thy had us ride on bikes or a treed mill in the chamber. The week before they operated on us they had us go in the chamber every day after school Then on the Friday of that week they told us to go home have a nice dinner shower and then we would go to the hospital for the night before our surgery. My parents brought me to the hospital the night before. yeas

I was told when I got to the hospital and changed into my gown that I would be spending time in a hyperbaric chamber in the hospital well I recovered I had to go into the hyperbaric chamber a few times well in the hospital plus ride a bike and run on a tredmill I was 11 and it happened at a pediatric hospital affiliated with a local university.

AFTER THE SURGERY

Both me and my friend are doing well and are both thinking of becoming heart surgines. Yeah lots of IVs for main and blood and some others. Breathing tube, but they took it out once I was completely awake and had my eyes open for more then a few minutes. I had catheter until i was reedy to get out of bed and walk around. Nope nothing up my ass. Yeah, all kinds of monitors i don't really remember them all. Yeah lots of staff did sometimes they woke me up in the night to do it.

I don't think I woke up durings surgery but I kind of remember something like it was dream or something were i saw myself on the table asleep with my chest open and the doctors working on me.

COMMENTS

It looks like the two boys did not really have a heart defect. It looks more like they performed an experimental surgery to make hert and lungs work more effective so that the condition of the boys got more in accordance with standard set by society or sport clubs. It looks like something similar got done with their urinary system.
