Girl, 13yo, therapy in nude by psychiatrist to cure shyness

I was a 13yo girl when this happened in a Psychiatrist's office in year 2002. I was going to this doctor at my mom's request to get help with my severe shyness which had begun at puberty.

When the psychiatrist worked out that I was feeling embarrassment and developing body issues she suggested that I practice confidence by removing all of my clothes in front of her. I said no at first and we carried on as usual but in the next session she showed me a lot of convincing literature about nudity being empowering and enhancing my self-esteem and about various studies and therapeutic techniques done in the past and I eventually gave in and took some of my clothes off.

The next session she said why not all of them? and I got completely naked. She spent a long time looking at my body, asking how it felt, writing down a lot about my responses and feelings. Then I was told to start attending my therapy sessions nude from the start to undress before entering and leave my clothes outside the room. This went on for several months of weekly sessions. Usually there was nobody in the waiting room but a few times there was another woman there and I was briefly embarrassed.

Then one time when my hour was up I could not find my clothes outside the door. The doctor said that this was my test of confidence if I can walk out into the waiting room without covering myself up and sit and wait for my clothes to be brought to me then I won't need to see a psychiatrist anymore. So I did but inside I was still feeling funny about it.

COMMENTS

Possibly the girl needed some therapy because of a shyness problem. But it looks like the therapist exploited the situation for own gain.

This gain could be own sexual gratification, but possibly she also used the girl in a scientific study. The women encountered in the waiting room most probably cooperated with the therapist to observe her taking off her clothes.

Highly probably they took pictures or videos of the girl by shielded cameras both in the waiting room and in the office.
