Sorry, I did not read ell enough your information.

I saw now that the contraceptive were in the vagina and taken out during the preoperative exam, not during the great ordeal, and not placed in the uterus.

Still it had to be removed to not disturb the examination.

If they took tissue samples from your uterus already at the preop, that may have been enough to prevent pregnancy.

I also strongly suspect they placed a device also in your uterus during the preop. One of the purpose might have been to hinder pregnancy. Another purpose was surely to surveil body functions.

The husband/father told about a device in his genital area. I guess you also had something like that.

But you might have more information to clarify the issue.
