Floppy uvula, engorged tonsils or other problems in the throat can disturb the breath during sleep an hence the sleep itself. The sleep study possibly was to investigate such problems. But possibly it was also to investigate dream patterns and night habits, including sexual arousal or masturbation. So I see also pattern of fishing for signs of reactions or behavior not conforming to the norms of society.

But I waonder if you got subjected to psychological tests or interrogations about your social life and habits. Also if you had electrodes or other things mounted on you or in body openings during these interrogations, connected to devices that could like lie detectors or similar. I also wonder if you had to be naked during these thets and got filmed by cameras., or if you was placed in exposed positions that made it possible to observe reactions in all body parts.

I do not necessarily expect everything I mentioned now about such test to have happened, but I will not be surprised if some of it happened.

It would be interesting to find out how these tests got performed and what was recorded, if you had such tests.
