Hi everybody and welcome Sheila. As you guys know I have been in an orientation. This make me having many feelings. The first day of orientation made me exciting but little bit nervous. There are almost fifty new employee and they gave me a general hospital information such as safty and hospital regulations..That's why I was little bit comfortable and I thought It's gonna be fine..
However, from second day, I was getting busier. They've been giving me too much information. Maybe other nurses absorbed easily. but for me it's been a big challenge in my life. So I felt I need to go over for catching up. Eventhough I used similar medical equipments, some of them have totally different names and operation. So I tried to do preparation in advance but when I saw the orientation schedule, sometimes I didn't have any idea about the some topics such as Accuchek and CTS until I took the classes for thoes topic. Also I think I am in a difficulties for reading a chart which writes in cursive script because I used computer charting system in my contry and have not been exposed enough so that I can figure it out. Does this sound like complaint??^^hehe.. No It's not...? Eventhough now I am little tired and worried, I think I can catch up and will be getting better..Maybe I need more time than others but now I am so happy working at ST Vincent and with you guys. Your advises and encouragements has been so helpful to me and I deeply appreciate it..
