Courtney Haynes can take it if she improves her wardrobe and selects right song.

I think that Carley will do well. That being said, sometimes Ann takes her girls in the wrong direction regarding talent. Ann thinks sorta "old" school when it comes to pageant songs/talent.

I am far from an ED fan, in fact I think she is a bit arrogant but I think she has a great chance of being a top 5 girl IF, big IF, she would get into the gym and get into the SHAPE of her life. She has a golden opportunity this year. She has Anne Harmon.
She is obviously intelligent and well spoken. If she can get her major weakness under control now she has the clothes b/c ULM helped her out tremendously with that aspect last year, as most Universities do.
Anne will guide in song selection and coach her on her interview skills and she should break the top 10 and 5 quite easily.

We have to send someone very smart, very articulate, very good at presenting herself. That being said, there are a few girls that come to mind. CM, LT, ED, just to name a few. Also it's apparent they do NOT have to be beautiful, either. (I mean, Miss A is pretty, but not beautiful by any means.)

Prelim SS:
CM, LT.

Prelim Talent:
Depends upon grouping, but possibly ED, CM, CH, and if she wins Kristin Hillard are all possiblities

Top 5 could be any of the following based on interview and talent scores:
ED, CM, CH, KH, KP, HA

I actually predict...CH, with surprise CM, ED, KH, KP in that order. Might be wrong but Farrah is guiding and CH has all the tools and is an excellent interview and talent. I think CM and ED will surprise many a folks.

If you want a great 'do, my stylist is the man for the job. He don't hold his tongue. He works wonders and if your color, current hairstyle ain't working he ain't shy about telling you the honest truth. If you have a style that you are wanting, and he thinks its a bad cut for you, then you will hear about it from him, and he will refuse to do it b/c he will not be a part of making you look bad.

Jamie, Amanda and Blair looked better when they won state than they did at Miss America. Does this tell you all anything about (B.O.D. and Dupont and Co.) Please B.O.D. try someone new to sponsor the clothes and get a wardrobe committee who knows what they are doing and doesn't have a monetary interest in the selection. Never have a sponsor on the grooming committee. Wake up and get with it! Use the girls local director to buffer between BOD and wardrobe committee. BOD, these formers do talk to their locals and other girls after they leave your organization and it's not positive...

"Dupont and Co." GAVE them their gown and other wardrobe peices but the gowns were chosen by the girls. They had choices. If they "talked" after they left the org. then maybe they were trying to blame someone other than themselves for not placing at Miss America. I don't think any shop owner could have afforded what JW dad did for her to win Miss La. but JW chose her gown. AJ won in a gown from "Dupont and Co." and designed her own gown for Miss America. BA was taken to market in Atlanta, it was stated at the trunk show, and BA chose her own wardrobe. So, YOU wake up and know what you are talking about before blaming someone else for other's short commings.

May 31 – June 3, 2013
Louisiana National American Miss
Crowne Plaza
4728 Constitution Avenue
Baton Rouge, LA 70808

Louisiana National American Miss Pageants are currently seeking judges for its main competition (formal wear, on-stage introduction, and interview) scheduled for Friday, May 31- Monday, June 3, arriving by 2:00 PM on that Friday and staying until the end of the pageant on Monday night. Roundtrip mileage from your home to the hotel site is paid. Hotel accommodations from check-in on Friday to check-out on Tuesday morning are also paid by the Pageant for our main pageant judges. However, same sex judges or judges who come with a significant other or with a friend who is also willing to judge, must share a room. In addition, meals such as continental breakfast items, deli products for lunches, fruits, drinks, an assortment of snacks, and dinners from the local establishments are provided from Friday thru Monday night.

We also need day judges for Friday, May 31 and Sunday, June 2, for the optional events (talent, casual wear modeling, actress, and spokesmodel). Hotel maybe provided for these optional judges as well. In addition, they will also be paid mileage as well as provided lunch.

If you have a reasonable commute to Baton Rouge from your home location, and have pageantry experience, performing arts, or related life experiences in evaluating people, skills, and things, please email me at jjames@prodigy.net as soon as possible. Be sure to include in your email your qualifications or attach a resume.
