Have you ever taken an objective look at what they are dealing with? I’m not affected by any of the teachers/judges involved in the scandal and I started to think about what is happening at the top level. There’s a cry to suspend everyone involved, but if they do that they will face expensive lawsuits from the people being suspended. The teachers supposedly involved deserve to have due process before their reputation and livelihood are destroyed. There has to be more evidence than pictures of screenshots off of someone’s phone which could easily be faked. I don’t know if people can be punished to the satisfaction of the mobs demanding punishment without bankrupting the entire organization. So if you are wanting to see punishment, are you willing to pay extra fees so that they can afford the legal team to have them carried out?

Everything is expensive. Hotel costs have gone up. Airfare has gone up. Venue rates have gone up. Everything has gone up and while I don’t personally want to pay more, I also could be convinced that these costs could be necessary for the organization to be able to keep going.
