He laughed at her comment laying his hand on her knee for a moment "I suppose-just getting comfortable. You might want to strap yourself in there by the way." He waited for her to buckle up, then moved his hand off her and gripped the stick.

He slid the stick into neutral, revving up the engine before kicking it into first gear, peeling the car out in the process as he took it onto the main road, away from the grimy old subway station and took off downtown, the force of the acceleration pushing him back into his seat as the lights of the city blurred past them. The engine whined as he shifted gears, bringing it back down to a deep growl.

Mike glanced over at Midori "Sure does beat riding in a carriage huh" he said. "So..you wanted to discuss something with me?" He thumbed the switch on the steering wheel, turning down the music so that he could hear her better.
