There was nothing he could do but watch from outside the shimmering black net. It was as if a sheet of midnight glitter was suspended between them, catching the faintest of light at times but sending back dazzling sparkles. When the younger brother pushed Fury to cement, Zeth’s fists clenched and his anger spiked. But he could feel the breath against his skin as the shadow creatures moved ever closure. He could scarcely hear Fury’s words but gathered her intention. She was smart and Zeth was relieved by that fact. He had to get Tarot here if he had any hope of getting her away. But it’d be harder to steal Fury back with both twins playing watch guard. He just needed to know where they were going. Then it was only a matter of seducing both away. Like a chess game; all Zeth need do is trick them into taking a pawn as the knight moved into checkmate. “You boys do realize that your mother will be displeased, right?” Bri was pretty formidable as a woman...imagine as a mom.
