(ooc: they're epic win. 8D Finnish symphonic metal band. Their old singer really had an amazingly beautiful voice, but she left. :( bah. the new one's good too, though sometimes she sounds like she's being strangled. xD anyway, Amaranth is the awesomesauce. :D you have to listen to it with the volume up though. The sound is huge, if that makes sense. At the end it will. o-0 "Over The Hills and Far Way" and "End of all Hope" are also pretty neat, with their old singer. *obsesses* beware teh fangirlyness! >D)

"Oh, well I feel alot better now. And hey, I agree with you on that one, Max. Have you noticed how my cup is empty?"

"Ah, so it is." he said, leaning forward a bit and peering into her coffee cup that was, indeed, quite empty. He saw her glance at the clock on the wall, and did so too, wondering why he hadn't seen it before. Max was usually a fairly observant person- he'd pick up little details of an object or something that no one else had probably even known was in the room. Directions and, as it now appeared, clocks were the only exceptions to this rule he'd discovered so far.

"Don't worry about it, you're probably just tired and sore. I noticed you wince earlier. I probably haven't been helping by talking your ear off. What do you say we get out of this place?"

"Yeah, them joints ain't how they used to be." he joked, making his voice faint and quivering like that of an old man. "No, company's always good. Anyway, I was the one talking the load of crap." he laughed. "But yeah, that sounds like a plan." he agreed. Maybe they could take a little detour if she wasn't in too much of a hurry to get back to her hotel room. Anyway, she still owed him her number. And it was still sort of early...ish. Alright, maybe not, but it wasn't midnight yet either.
