"I've been around enough people of all types to know the difference." She said into his shoulder as her head rested upon it. She ignored his next question about what she was looking for. How could she tell him that what she really was looking for was an escape, a new beginning, something to get her mind off the horrors of the past year. She shivered slightly due to the cold and also to the thoughts. She settled her head against his shoulder and the then suddenly and slowly felt his arm move to encompass her shoulders. She sensed his catiousness and as she felt the warmth of his arm surround her jacket covered shoulders she purred softly. It was a musical sound, as though an angel were singing softly (which one was). She leaned into his embrace moving her head more onto his chest and scooting closer to make them both more comfortable.
