The felines slap had dug four good slices in the side of his head, starting right below and behind the left ear and pulling down across his jaw and ending under his throat. It would show up as a set of cuts running along the underside of his jaw line as a human, and would be healed within a day or two. It wasn't even bleeding must, just enough to fill the cuts and glue them closed.

His body was still tense as she slunk to his side, though he finally shook himself from nose to tail to clear the fight from his body language. He turned to her, reaching out to box her ear with one paw before licking her forehead. They should leave, before the scuffle had a chance to draw any observers. He moved to her side, pressing his nose to her wound and breathing deep. Touch darted out to lick the spot before he turned away, headed back towards the truck.

She should get that cleaned before infection had a chance to set in. Cats claws held the nastiest things, and she could easily come down wit ha nasty infection. He aught to take the time to shift, but he hadn't brought any clothes with him so he'd have to wait till they got back to the apartments before he could shift.
