In reply to: Craig 's message, "..::Blood and Leather::.." on 01:40:48 05/12/11 Thu

In her concern to keep the cat from doing more damage than it had already done, she hadn't noticed that Craig had let go. She knew the mind of the cat--knew the danger of the species--and was scared to see what would happen when she released her grip.

Another scream of anger came from the male as he started to whirl, and at the same moment, Craig's voice shot through her head like a bullet. In her surprise, she released the other cat, green eyes widening as they met his. If she could hear him...could he hear her?

The large male was gone, headed for the treeline to lick his wounds. She hadn't fully seen his wounds, but she doubted they'd be life threatening. She glanced at the trees again, scanning to be sure he really was gone, before moving to the large Wolf's side at a slight limo. She hadn't even thought of drawing the attention of a male cat here, and felt terrible for putting them in danger. Little ears were pressed to her head in guilt as she approached him, almost slinking to his side. She hoped he wasn't hurt...that would make the whole situation worse. Her own would was just a couple of scratched on the shoulder...it looked deeper than it was, and had already begun to clot.
