We went in without H, very little actually changed and not one small or medium sized bloke had a great game on Ben McKay or Walker. We fell just short of north on inside 50s yet got pantsed. (Don't get me wrong, we're shite, our coaching panel is shite, so not an ideal example)

I agree, in the AFL if a team is lacking talls, they simply play smaller, I mean what else can they do?

However, this ruling is in place to create a clear cut standard on how our "fantasy" teams should be lining up each week. A standard that was discussed and agreed a long time back.

Re: Top teams getting the penalty. How is that even a question? who cares, top teams are there becuase (A)they have drafted/traded well to create spread, and/or (B) they have had a little luck on the injury front - like any afl team, see Brissy 2020... Take Whippets for instance, if Peter Wright or Reilly O'Brien go down I will be taking a (-50pt) in either the ruck or KPF due to injuries/lackOfAFLSelection... is what it is, and I'd cop that on the chin because I know I'm weak in those specific areas of the ground.

Anyway, it's clearly a couple guys who want it one way, a few guys who want it another, and a few more guys on the fence... we can discuss at end of year (like we did a few years back to bring this rule into consideration in the first place).
