Subject: How many top sides are getting penalties?
In reply to: Brendan 's message, "Worth noting: Only the best 18 scores count" on 23/07/21 6:57pm

"to play 1:1 against Jake Lever... a very tall task for an undersized bloke to come out and kick 5 and score 100 points"

Put Lever on Jamie Elliot or other small but quick forwards, and that forward will run off Lever ALL NIGHT LONG.

No reality is that the other side would send a smaller defender with some speed to keep up, and contend in the air.

The side with the small forward, will not just bomb it in long, playing into Levers height would they?

But don't take my word for it, watch what ACTUALLY happens when it happens in the AFL.
