You answered the vote only, and didn't read the discussion thread that accompanied the vote, where I talked about straddling the draft with trade periods either side.

I put the question up, and the discussion and votes decide what we go with, how we go with it, and what wording is put on the rules sheet. One coach said, I would vote yes, but 48 hours is too quick, and barely worth it. The vote was heading to Yes before it was interrupted by a Autocratic ruling, but the discussions were indicative of what coaches thought. A week each side for one coach was a very good idea. If coaches agreed with that, in the discussion, one could be forgiven for thinks the rule carried for a specific 48 hour question and a one off, but the discussion took us elsewhere.

If we had more coaches doing task, say Tom was in charge of wording on the rules page, he could have run off after it was concluded and put that up for all to see in the furture.

It is structure, and routine Max. It is what happens when or after x, Y and Z happens. There is no system. We are just presuming such a discussion is dealt with to make it a regulation, a rule, a system in place from now.

If no one is activated by this, it is forgotten and it sits dormant until next time we deal with it....AGAIN. No wonder Mods don't want Votes to decide anything, because it appears you are too busy to carry it through to where it needs to go, and in what format.

That is why I bought up a broader sharing of tasks. But no one mentioned anything about that, until yesterday, when Ian put his hand up for one role. That goes ignored to this stage as well.
