I was at a road race at Nelson Ledges, Ohio. It was a 24-hour race that started at noon on Saturday and did not end until noon on Sunday. The dogs and I got to camp out. Both of them took everything in stride. We got a lot of comments when I walked the both of them into the ladies room several times.

Azaan had the same response as Jaf did -- just curious as to what it was. I think since it was on a leash they knew it was off limits. The woman who owned the piggie was not too anxious to let the dogs sniff her, so I had to keep them back a little bit.

Thanks for the kind words about Jaf. He is a handful sometimes, but sometimes he has a lot of good sense. He was a charm to handle near the piggie. He also took everything in stride at the race, especially considering there were other dogs, tons of people, cars zooming everywhere, bicycles, tarps, power tools, campfires, etc.

How is Bear and Sweet Pea? Is any of Bear's self-assured demeanor rubbing off on Sweet Pea?
